Course has a required field trip to Costa Rica, Spring vacation. Leave Portland Friday March 18, 2005, return Sunday March 27, 2005. Field trip fee $1700, required to be paid as part of tuition to guarantee place in the class. Fee covers airfare, local transportation, lodging, national park entrance fees, and some meals. Waiting list compiled first day of class.

NOTE: The trip leaves Friday of Finals week, and returns Sunday before the first day of classes for Spring Term.
